Research & Information

Through the SBDC network we can assist you with information and research. We have a wide variety of resource organizations, an in-house business library, and state and national research networks.
In January of 2005 the SBA's Business Information Centers (BIC) were folded into the Small Business Development Center's regional office libraries. The BIC contain many different resources for entrepreneurs and small businesses including: Various Industry Start-Up Guides, hundreds of books on topics ranging from micro-business to corporate management, and a video library with Televisions and VCRs on hand for immediate viewing. Together the SBDC's library and the BIC's resources provide you the information you need to get started.
The SBDC also has access to student research at the University of North Dakota and nationally through SBDCNet. Research assistance may be for: Market Data, creating contact lists, industry research, business planning, case studies, and much more.
