The Small Business Development Center's mission is to provide high quality business assistance in the form of counseling, training, and research to existing and prospective small businesses which results in job creation or retention and economic wealth.

How the SBDC is administered
The North Dakota SBDC is administered by the University of North Dakota in a partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the state of North Dakota through the Department of Commerce, and through regional hosts.
